The Generative Intelligence Lab in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at FAU supports the ideation, design, and deployment of research-driven Generative Intelligence Systems for our research community and industry partners.

We are thinkers and builders of Generative Intelligence Systems!

We operate as a Think Tank and Development Studio in multi-disciplinary research projects. We can prototype solutions integrating User Experience, AI Pipelines, and Generative Models, in practical applications to support multidisciplinary research and experimentation. Our Research Collaborators and Industry Partners help us design research projects for solutions that can be translated to real-world demands.

• VIP Enhancing Child Welfare Research and Translation through AI: partnership project with FAU Social Works and Criminal Justice, supported by Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) program; we are developing Generative Intelligence technology to make a real difference in child welfare system.

• Perceptions About Understanding and Skills with GenAI: we are learning how our academic community perceives their skills and confidence in using Generative AI systems and their current level of maturity with this technology.

• OwlMind Framework: research platform to support education and experimentation with Generative Intelligence Systems, AI-Driven Organizations and Collective Intelligence

• Research Community Papers: this series aims to provide introductory overviews of specific concepts, explain related research opportunities, and outline potential ideas for research projects.
